TLDR
At Tripalink, I played a key role in designing and researching multi-platform (B2B, B2C, web, mobile) products that are transforming the apartment rental experience. I led projects that optimized the renter journey, and automated and streamedlined the operation process. Throughout this journey, I fostered strong collaboration between product managers, engineers, and operations teams.
BACKGROUND
What's Tripalink
Tripalink is a property management company that’s aiming to streamline and automate entire operation process; Below is a basic conversion funnel.

Renters check out for apartments on our website or other apartment rental website like apartments.com, if they see something interesting, they might consider scheduling a tour; if after touring they want to rent the place, they will need to submit an application for credit check and screening. If approved, they will sign a lease agreement, and finally move-in.
During my time at Tripalink, I have worked on projects at all stages of the funnel, trying to bring automated solutions that will reduce cost at the operation end, and providing a more seamless experience for customers.
Some of the projects I did
Dynamic Price
Initiated and led the dynamic pricing tool for funnel automation as product designer & product manager. Partnered with 2 engineering teams and 2 data scientists to launch MVP in November 2022.
Move-in Inspection
Designed tenant move-in inspection flow by conducting field research, competitive analysis and user interviews to map UX journey and create MVP within 4 weeks, leading to 46% increase in communication efficiency between property managers and tenants.

Lease Agreement
Redesigned the lease agreement flow; reduced flow completion time by 141%; launched the product to 6 regions.

Rental Application
Revamp tenant application process by analyzing drop off rates & heat map. Decreased rental application time by 28%.

AI Leasing Agent
An experiment to incorporate LLM into our website to provide a more seamless experience for customers. The project includes a customer facing website & a internal facing CRM dashboard.
Partnered with data & PM to build the core user personas and various user flows and conversation trees. Partnered with engineers to test and ensure pixel perfect.

CRM Mobile App
End to end designed mobile app for field operation team by conducting user interviews to identify top use cases & wireframes (scheduling, messaging, & client follow up). Resulting in 25% increase in client response rate and 78% faster response time.

Website Redesign (Legacy)
Optimized lead conversions by drafting 4 design concepts, including restructing information architecture, creating an interactive floor plan, an interactive map view to show nearby. A/B testing each to ensure conversion. Collaborated with tech leadership in the process resulting in 150% increase in leads and 230% increase in qualified leads.
